We’re opening our Holiday Art Market one day early for our members! Get a first look at selections of over 80 Colorado artists works. We’ve got art in all kinds of mediums you’re sure to find something for anyone on your list this year!

Celebrate Native American Heritage Month by learning the timeless craft of Cherokee basket weaving. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own double-walled basket using natural and dyed round reed while exploring the beauty and tradition behind this art form. Be prepared to get your hands wet and leave with a meaningful piece to call your own.

Step outside and capture the beauty of Golden in this four-week En Plein Air series led by professional artist J Michael Gatlin.

Each session builds upon the last—exploring materials, techniques, and the art of seeing with a painter’s eye. Whether you’re new to plein air or looking to refine your approach, you’ll gain the confidence and skills to create work you’re proud of.

Connect with fellow artists, enjoy the fresh air, and experience the joy of painting outdoors.

Celebrate the season and find some great gifts at our 50th Annual Holiday Art Market! The Astor House will be transformed into a curated selection of handcrafted works from over 80 Colorado artists, including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, paintings, photography, and much more!

Join us on November 21st for an exclusive member preview and be the first to shop for friends and family. Maybe even something for yourself! Enjoy an afternoon of art, community and festivity as we open the doors to one of our favorite holiday traditions.

Through untraditional cut-outs, Artists Sarah Tenney and Jenna Annunziato explore delicate relationships we hold with others and the objects that surround us. Join them as they discuss their joint exhibition, Fragile Things.

Hear from the artists how their pairing reflects the duality between two artists: one orbiting nostalgia in the forgotten, and false divinity; the other exploring connection, conflict, and intervention.

Foothills Art Center is thrilled to announce the call for our 2026 Members’ Show—an annual celebration of the incredible talent within our artist community!

We are calling for entries for our members art to be apart of the show!

This year’s exhibition will be juried by 2025 “Viewer’s Choice” winner, Taylor Henry, who will curate a show that highlights creativity, craftsmanship, and diverse artistic voices.

The exhibition will be held in the Large Gallery at the new Astor House location, offering artists the chance to showcase their work in one of Golden’s most inspiring spaces.

Whether you’re an emerging artist or an experienced creator, this is a fantastic opportunity to share your work and connect with fellow members.
