    This class aims to give students an understanding of the practice and history of still-life painting with oil. Drawing on impressionist techniques to modern-day painters, students will create their own contemporary twist on an age-old subject. The first class will demonstrate how to set up an underpainting by addressing the fundamentals of composition and proportion.
