Foothills Art Center offers two unique venues for your next event in historic downtown Golden, Colorado. The Astor House, home to our rotating exhibitions, combines historic charm with contemporary art, featuring new works every 12 weeks. Our Creative Campus, dedicated to classes and workshops, includes flexible classroom spaces available for rent.

Astor House
Enjoy Foothills Art Center’s rotating exhibitions at the Astor House, our largest event space. This venue accommodates up to 35 guests for seated events or 150 for a standing reception and is available for rent after hours only.
The courtyard can also be rented for an additional fee.
Astor House – Board Room
Our boardroom comfortably seats 4–12 people and is available daily from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The space includes a screen with an HDMI connection, and guests are welcome to enjoy the artwork on display.
Creative Campus – Classrooms
Petersen Classroom – Ideal for small gatherings, this space has a private entrance and is accessed via a flight of stairs.
Large Classroom – This spacious room features stunning stained glass windows that cast a warm, filtered light. It’s perfect for lectures, luncheons, or receptions.
Creative Campus – Sculpture Garden
The Sculpture Garden, designed by Saarinen Landscape Architecture, provides beautiful photo opportunities with sweeping views of the Golden valley and beyond.
