Contemporary Still Life – Oil Painting

Drawing on impressionist techniques to modern-day painters, students will create their own contemporary twist on an age-old subject. The first class will demonstrate how to set up an underpainting by addressing the fundamentals of composition and proportion.

Painting Sunrises or Sunsets with Janet Nunn

The bright colors of the sky against the shadows of the land bring contrast to the scene. Learn to paint these scenes in watercolor. We will be using liquid watercolors. Member Event at Rocky Mountain National Quilt Museum
The Rocky Mountain National Quilt Museum will have two exhibits on display. Logs on a Roll features a variety of log cabin quilts and 3,000 and Counting will have miniature log cabin quilts from nationally known quilter and certified NQM judge, Amy Pabst. These miniature quilts are all made from 3,000 pieces or more!
