Robot Assembling Workshop and Conversation with Artist Chris Mora

Skill Level: All Levels. This is an adult workshop however children 6 years and older may attend with an adult. Each participant will need to register and pay a member or non-member fee.

Location: Foothills Art Center – Creative Campus, 809 15th Street

Course Description:

Metal fabricator Chris Mora creates playful, articulated “robot” sculptures that spark the imagination with remarkable craftsmanship.

Join Chris for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own personal stainless steel and brass robot head with moving parts. As Chris leads you in robot head assembly, he will also speak about his exhibition, The Articulate Robots of Chris Mora.

Engage in conversation and metalworking techniques leaving with a one-of-a-kind metal robot head to take home!
