Fall 2 Wheel-Throwing – Tuesday Evenings

WHEEL-THROWING INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED

FALL SESSION 2

This class is designed for experienced wheel-throwing students. Students must be 18 years of age or older. Instruction will be in throwing more advanced forms, such as, cylinders, lids, plates and classic forms. Students are also encouraged to explore their own creativity. The final class of the session will include a casual group critique and a potluck!

This class provides one 25-pound bag of clay, use of all studio equipment and tools and firing of all work made during class or lab/open studio.

Additional bags of clay can be purchased for $20 each during class. Clay tools are provided on a first come, first served basis. We highly encourage students that intend to continue taking classes or making pottery past the beginner level to check out our Recommended Clay Tools list (linked in our class confirmation email) in order to ensure that you have access to all the tools you want to use.

Open Studio takes place Saturdays from 9am-5pm for each week that classes are active. Students must sign up and pay for the open studio before their first class takes place in order to attend. Open studio time is only open to students that are concurrently taking a class.
