En Plein Air – Oct & Nov

Weekly En Plein Air sessions with professional artist, J Michael Gatlin!

Thursdays, 9 – 11am

October 16, 23, 30, & Nov 6

• Participants will be guided through choosing a subject, simplifying what we see, and building an interesting composition using drawing and watercolor, as we capture both cherished and unique outdoor locations in Golden.
• Each of the four sessions will build upon each other as we focus on: learning what art materials are really necessary, basic drawing techniques, capturing a quick expression of the scene, basic compositional ideas, painting techniques, and so much more. 
• Join our vibrant art class and connect with fellow creatives! Experience the joy of painting and drawing en plein air in a supportive environment, where you can share ideas and inspire one another.

Your own basic supplies will work, and Michael’s supply list and outdoor location available with registration.
