Logs on a Roll features a variety of log cabin quilts and 3,000 and Counting will have miniature log cabin quilts from nationally known quilter and certified National Quilting Association judge, Amy Pabst. These miniature quilts are all made from 3,000 pieces or more!

Astor House is located just down the hill from our Astor House is located just down the hill from our current location at 822 12th Street in the heart of Golden. Our city sees around 2.5M visitors annually, and we know many will be experiencing Foothills Art Center for the first time. We are doubling the size of Astor House and making it accessible for all. Three galleries and a dedicated hands-on space will pair with a park-like courtyard to create a cultural destination like no other in Golden. Astor House is already instantly recognizable to many, and  our modern addition brings this building into present-day use while preserving its treasured history. We have a few surprises in store for you at Astor House, and I'm excited for you to see them and experience our exhibitions at this reimagined site. Dear Members, A few years ago, we (as in YOU, me Dear Members, A few years ago, we (as in YOU, me, and the crew here at FAC) embarked on a collective journey of transformation during a period of great uncertainty. From my perspective, I've witnessed this journey take numerous twists and turns, with moments of excitement and even some disappointments along the way. Through it all, we've relied on our Board, Staff, and YOU, our members, to guide us, brainstorm ideas, problem-solve, and financially support this vision for a new Foothills Art Center. Currently, we are overseeing two full-blown construction projects. Walls are being erected at one location and torn down at another. We have some incredible people working and collaborating to build the next chapter of our organization. Our team is working harder than ever to ensure this goes right. We only get one chance to open a brand-new arts center, and want to make you all proud. This history-making moment is chaotic, frantic, and, if I'm being honest, stressful. However, through the dust and din of construction lies the inherent beauty of a new beginning and the endless possibilities they offer to serve our community. As the leader of this organization, I feel humbled to be part of this huge step forward for Foothills Art Center, and I'm honored to work alongside such a passionate team. Here at 809 15th Street, we are tripling our education capacity and creating dedicated and accessible spaces for everyone to create. For years, our members requested ceramics classes. We can't wait to welcome you to our new ceramics studio and work in this new medium with you. Ten artist studios and a new artist-in-residency program will round out the offerings. This converted church will be a hive of creative energy. Cindy is the Director of Preservation Programs at the Colorado Historical Foundation and holds an impressive educational background in design, architecture, and art history. Her work focuses on preserving historic properties and cultural landscapes, with a goal of making preservation more accessible to everyone. We're excited to see the unique perspectives and expertise she'll bring to our organization. Welcome, Cindy! Karma Giulianelli, Board Member We're excited to announce that Karma Giulianelli has joined our board at Foothills Art Center! A Golden native, Karma attended Stanford Law School and spent a decade in California before returning to start her family. Since then, she has seen Golden transformed into a vibrant hub for the arts and community. Karma is passionate about exploring creativity through the arts and is excited to be a part of our organization as we continue to grow.
