Downtown Bicycle Corrals

Entry Deadline: November 15, 2024

The project is a collaboration between the PAC and the City’s Planning Division to infuse art with bicycling infrastructure, typically utilitarian in nature, as part of the recently-adopted Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan, whose goal is to provide residents, visitors, and commuters with safe and efficient multimodal travel. Please see the attached downtown map, corral locations, and APBP Essentials of Bike Parking for more information.

2025 Members’ Show

Entry Deadline: November 24, 2024
Entry Fee: $15

Foothills Art Center (FAC) is pleased to announce the call for our annual exhibition featuring our artist members’ diverse artistic talents and techniques. This show is a fantastic opportunity to show your work of yours if you never have before.

ARTSWEEK GOLDEN FESTIVAL

Entry Deadline: March 30, 2025
Entry Fee: $30

The Annual ARTSWEEK GOLDEN FESTIVAL is back for 2025, and we are excited to welcome our artists and friends to downtown Golden! The Festival, operated by the staff and volunteers at Foothills Art Center, kicks off a weeklong celebration of the arts. This year will be our 7th year of the show, and we are quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most “artists friendly” festivals around, with several artists breaking personal sales records at our festival at past shows.

Community Gallery

We have made our selections for 2024/2025 but we are always looking for proposals for the future.

Please continue to submit to be considered for 2026 and beyond. To submit, simply email photos of your work and a brief proposal of what your show or series would be about to eriq@foothillsartcenter.org.

All proposals will be considered. See below for the dimensions of the space. Please remember that a modular wall system will be available to add hanging space for artists with larger
collections. All shows in the community Gallery will pay an honorarium of $250 to the artist and installation costs (not shipping) will be covered by FAC.

ONLINE APPLICATION ASSISTANCE

Artists needing assistance with the CaFÉ online system can contact CaFÉ directly.

ENTERING EXHIBITIONS ONLINE THROUGH CAFÉ

CaFÉ (which stands for Call for Entry) is one of the more popular websites for entering exhibitions online, and it’s the one that FAC uses for all of our juried exhibitions. We even make it less expensive to apply through CaFÉ – plus, we give you longer to apply!

One of the best things about CaFÉ is that they have great step-by-step instructions to help you use their website. Learn how to apply to calls for entry using CaFÉ. They make it very easy to set up a profile, search for opportunities, and apply to exhibitions.
