Making a Point | Youth Art Workshop

Are you ready to unleash your imagination and collaborate with fellow young artists? Join us for an exciting 90-minute workshop where we’ll dive into the art of storytelling through art making!

What to Expect

• Collaborative Storytelling: Together, we’ll craft a unique narrative, exploring the magic of teamwork where every idea counts.
• Storyboarding Fun: We’ll kick things off by storyboarding our tale, setting the stage for an epic adventure.
• Group Creativity: At a thrilling plot twist, you’ll team up in pairs or small groups to decide how the story unfolds. There are no wrong answers—just endless possibilities!
• Artistic Expression: Bring your story to life by illustrating the resolution of your plot point using drawing, collage, or mixed media in your very own cigar box diorama.

Learn and Create

• Discover how to add depth to your artwork with foreground, middle-ground, and background techniques.
• Explore what makes a story captivating and how to visually express connections and disconnections between characters.

Showcase Your Work

At the end of the workshop, we’ll come together to present our unique story endings, celebrating our creativity and collaboration.
