Location: Foothills Art Center – Creative Campus, 809 15th Street. 

Course Description:

Participants will be introduced to gesture drawings, how they describe the action of the figure and serve as the foundation for life drawings. 

Our first session will devote ample practice time to drawing gestures from both photographic images of figures and live model drawing.   

Building upon the gesture, our second session will give participants a variety of form creating techniques.  By adding contours, shadowing and other techniques, the gestures become three dimensional representations of the figures.   A live model will be used for this drawing session.
