Age Level: 18+ years and up, due to nude model

Location: Foothills Art Center – Creative Campus, 809 15th Street. 

Course Description:

Participants will be introduced to gesture drawings, how they describe the action of the figure and serve as the foundation for life drawings. We will devote ample practice time to drawing gestures from life drawings and with a live model.

Building upon the gesture, we will give participants a variety of form creating techniques. By adding contours, shadowing and other techniques, the gestures become three dimensional representations of the figures.
