We’re kicking off Artsweek with a happy hour chat and art viewing at the Eddy Hotel! This artist talk will feature Heather Mourer, a Colorado based interior designer and ceramic artist. Heather has a minimalist aesthetic, featuring projects with a modernist base that evolve to embrace a softer, more organic feel.

Step into a world of visual storytelling in Based

Step into a world of visual storytelling in Based on a True Story, a new solo exhibition by Moe Scance.

Featuring nineteen narrative works on paper, this collection invites you into a story of mystery and drama. Using a unique combination of printmaking, drawing, and mark-making techniques, Moe weaves together people, animals, and landscapes drawn from both her East Coast roots and Western surroundings.

Be the first to experience “Based On A True Story” and join us tomorrow for the Member Reception before it opens to the public on Saturday.

Ian is a sculptor and fabricator with over 20 years of experience creating large-scale metal works that blend industrial design with emotional depth. His passion for welding began at age 12 and continues to shape his public art practice today.

Every stained-glass-inspired piece found a new home, and together we raised $2,500 in support of our exciting future. Thank you to all of our local artists who donated these amazing pieces for the auction!

An African safari is more than a journey—it’s an immersion into rhythm, instinct, and the raw beauty of the natural world.   Tomorrow, May 20th from 3–4 PM, join us at Foothills Art Center for an intimate happy hour with Denver-based photographer @Howard.Paul.5280, as he takes us behind the lens of his 2024 photographic expedition through Kenya.

From the sweeping plains of the Masai Mara to the elephant-laden landscapes of Amboseli, Howard’s images capture the pulse of East Africa’s wildlife with reverence and precision. He’ll share the stories behind the shots, offer practical advice for aspiring safari-goers.

This is a unique opportunity to see the wild through the eyes of someone who’s been there.
