ARTSWEEK GOLDEN, June 17-23, 2024, a week-long celebration of the arts in Golden! 2024 has been a banner year for the arts in Golden, with multi-million dollar arts investments, the opening of new downtown arts venues and more! There will be many opportunities to explore Golden’s revitalized arts scene all week long. ARTSWEEK GOLDEN is orchestrated by Foothills Art Center and the centerpiece is GOLDEN ARTSWEEK FESTIVAL, June 22 & 23 from 9 am – 5 pm. This free, juried arts festival features 70 local and national artists in downtown Golden at 12^th & Arapahoe Streets, just outside the new Foothills Arts Center Astor House. Phenomenal art, art open houses, music, kids’ art activities and more!

We’re so excited to see you during our ARTSWEEK GOLDEN FESTIVAL! Here are a couple of things to keep in mind before you visit:

• The festival is on Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23 from 9 am – 5 pm
• The festival is located at 12th & Arapahoe, Golden, CO
• The festival is FREE to attend; no tickets are required to visit.

Getting to the Event and Parking

FREE PARKING OPTIONS

• Ride your bike and park securely at one of the NEW on-site bike racks you will find at the event! Be sure to bring your bike lock!
• Drive to a satellite lot and take the FREE SHUTTLE.  Park conveniently and free of charge at the Jefferson County Human Services building, (900 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden, 80401) (MAP) and hop on the free, dedicated shuttle right to the entrance of the event.  Shuttles run continuously for the duration of the event.
• Ride the RTD W Line to the Jefferson County Government Center/Golden Station and hop on the free shuttle which will run continuously for the duration of the event.

If you have to drive, there are public parking options walkable to the event:

FREE PARKING OPTIONS

• Clear Creek Lot –Space is limited, and it fills up quickly. (MAP) Located at 10^th Street and Archer Street
•  Colorado School of Mines Lot K –(MAP) Located at the corner of 11^th Street and Maple Streets

PAID PARKING OPTIONS

• Jackson Street North Public Garage (MAP) located on Jackson Street between 11^th and 12^th Streets. Offers paid parking using a parking app or kiosk.
• Jackson Street South Public Garage (MAP) located on Jackson Street between 12^th and 13^th Streets. Offers paid parking using a parking app or  kiosk.
• Street Parking – all of downtown Golden and the 10^th Street corridor is paid parking.  Use the kiosk or the HONK parking app.
• Colorado School of Mines Garage at McNeil Hall (MAP) offers paid parking using a parking app.
