ARTSWEEK GOLDEN FESTIVAL

The Annual ARTSWEEK GOLDEN FESTIVAL is back for 2026, and we are excited to welcome our artists and friends to downtown Golden! The Festival, operated by the staff and volunteers at Foothills Art Center, kicks off a weeklong celebration of the arts. This year will be our 8th year of the show, and we are quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most “artists friendly” festivals around, with several artists breaking personal sales records at our festival at past shows. 

Getting to the Festival

FREE OPTIONS 

• Ride your bike and park securely at one of the NEW on-site bike racks you will find at the event! Be sure to bring your bike lock! 
• Park outside of the downtown area and take the free ORE CART SHUTTLE.  Shuttles run Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and take the Gold Route and get off at Parfet Park. Map and more information here.

If you drive, there are public parking options walkable to the event:  

FREE PARKING OPTIONS 

• Clear Creek Lot –Space is limited, and it fills up quickly. (MAP) Located at 10^th Street and Archer Street 
•  Colorado School of Mines Lot K –(MAP) Located at the corner of 11^th Street and Maple Streets

PAID PARKING OPTIONS 

• Jackson Street North Public Garage (MAP) located on Jackson Street between 11^th and 12^th Streets offers paid parking using a parking app or kiosk.  
• Jackson Street South Public Garage (MAP) located on Jackson Street between 12^th and 13^th Streets offers paid parking using a parking app or kiosk. 
• 18^th Street Parking Garage (Colorado School of Mines) at 18^th Street and Washington Avenue is open to the public for a day rate.  Use the ParkMobile app, Zone 1572 for payments.  
• Street Parking – all of downtown Golden and the 10^th Street corridor is paid parking.  Use the kiosk or the HONK parking app.  
• Colorado School of Mines Garage at McNeil Hall (MAP) offers paid parking using a parking app.
