Holiday Frame Weaving 101

This class will introduce students to introductory weaving techniques. Students will use a small and simple frame loom. No experience required! Learn how to warp a loom, basic tapestry style techniques, taking off the loom and what to do once finished.

Techniques covered:

– Plain weave                               

– Interlock                                   

– Vertical stripes                                   

– Checkerboard                                  

– Rya knots 

– Soumak 

– Supplemental Weft

$20 Material Fee paid directly to the instructor.
