Golden Hour is back on Friday, May 29 from 6:00– Golden Hour is back on Friday, May 29 from 6:00–8:00 pm at the Astor House!

Spend your evening in the courtyard with mountain views, live music from Allen Anderson and Friends, and live ceramic demonstrations by Rachel Bierma. Enjoy local brews and bites from Atomic Provisions while the sun sets and the space comes alive with art and community.
Each ticket includes a free drink, with additional food and beverages available for purchase.

Artful Journeys offers a welcoming space for senio Artful Journeys offers a welcoming space for seniors to connect, create, and explore together.

On Thursday, May 21 from 1:00–2:30 pm at the Astor House, this free program brings participants beyond their daily routines for an afternoon of art and conversation. Enjoy a guided look at current exhibitions, hands on artmaking, engaging discussions, and time to connect with others all in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Go inside the mindset behind the work at an Artist Go inside the mindset behind the work at an Artist Talk with Tom Sarmo.

Sarmo will share the personal journey behind his exhibition. Grappling with the tension between creativity and perfection, and the process of letting go of expectation to rediscover the joy of making. His reflections offer an honest look at the challenges artists face and the freedom that comes from embracing uncertainty.

Golden StArt returns on Wednesday, May 20 from 4-5 Golden StArt returns on Wednesday, May 20 from 4-5pm at the Foothills Art Center Creative Campus.

This casual, one-hour meetup brings artists and the Golden community together to connect and talk about art. This month features a conversation with our Ceramic Arts Coordinator, Jordan Hawks, sharing insights into his work and the ceramics program.

Take a deeper look at Rocky Mountain Muses: Rob Be Take a deeper look at Rocky Mountain Muses: Rob Bell during a guided gallery tour on Saturday, May 9 from 11:00–11:30 am at the Astor House.

Led by a Gallery Guide, this 25-minute tour offers insight into the themes, techniques, and ideas behind Bell’s work through conversation and close observation. A great way to experience the exhibition from a new perspective.

This free, monthly program combines story time with a hands on art activity inspired by the book of the day. A great way for toddlers and their caregivers to explore and create together.

Meeting Wednesdays in May (May 6, 13, 20, 27 | 5:30–7:00 pm), this all-levels class guides participants through the process of uncovering and shaping personal stories.

Celebrate art, creativity, and community at our Cr Celebrate art, creativity, and community at our Creative Campus Open House & Creative Canvas Fundraiser on Friday, May 8 from 4–7 pm. Explore the Creative Campus, tour artist studios, and get a behind-the-scenes look at classes and programs. 

Be part of the experience with Creative Canvas! We offer 60 blank 6×6 canvases for anyone to create your own artwork, and see it featured in a silent auction during the event. It’s a fun, hands-on way to support local artists and help expand access to the arts in our community.
