Longtime FAC educator, Janet Nunn, has been guiding trips focused on plein air sketch booking for years now. Waypoint is a celebration of artwork that started in a sketchbook and is now a full art piece. 🖋️🌍 From immersive sketch-journals to larger works inspired by travels, this exhibit invites both seasoned artists and curious newcomers to see the world through a more mindful, creative lens. 📖 Featuring real sketchbooks, personal interviews, and a special video collaboration with Red Rocks Community College. 🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that Maura Adams 🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that Maura Adamson is officially our new Executive Director! 👏 A fourth-gen Goldenite and a powerhouse in arts education, Maura has been shaping FAC for 9 years — expanding programs, securing major funding, and fostering a thriving creative community. 🎭✨ From growing education revenue from $40K to $250K to securing a $500K grant for future improvements, her leadership speaks for itself. And with deep family roots in FAC’s history, she’s carrying on a legacy of artistic impact! 🎉 “I am honored to step into this role and continue to work alongside a talented team committed to creating a stronger community through art,” said Adamson. “I deeply value the staff, members, volunteers, and donors and am incredibly thankful for the board’s ongoing support.
