Course Description:

Celebrate ARTSWEEK with us at Foothills Art Center and join this workshop generously sponsored by Golden Makers!

In this workshop, participants will learn about the basics of woodworking while creating a functional and fun bird house. Through the experience of building a project from start to finish, participants will learn different techniques for building and finishing including basic joinery and how to use hand tools. They will then have the chance to finish their bird house with their choice of recycled materials, paint, stain or a wood burner

• Classes and workshops may be cancelled if enrollment minimums are not reached. You will be notified by telephone at least 3 days prior to the scheduled start date should cancellation become necessary.
