July 8 – 14, 2024
Monday- Thursday 9:00am-4:30pm
Friday 9:00am-3:00pm
Calling all young artists! During this exciting week, kids will get to be a different artist for each day! They will learn about the life of the artist and how this affected the way their artwork looks. Hilarious Pop Art Soup Can paintings will inspire our day as Andy Warhol. We will draw with oil pastels as we learn to create a textured landscape in the style of Vincent Van Gogh. We will create with collage to construct nal message by learning about the conceptual art of Barbara Kruger. Symbolism and playfulness will guide us through a day as Deborah Butterfield creating a found object animal sculpture. Lastly, Andy Goldsworthy will be our inspiration for radial nature design creating artwork in Nature out of earth materials. Collage, Paint, Draw, and Sculpt your way through a week of fun!
