Join Peter Dunne, professional producer and writer, for a 1 hour introduction to his upcoming 4 week class, Contemplative Memoir: Remembering Being, Being Remembered.

Have you ever wanted to write your life story but felt overwhelmed or unsure where to start? Together, we’ll explore how revisiting defining moments in your life can provide healing, self-discovery, and a deeper understanding of who you are. You’ll discover that your story isn’t just about the past – it’s a bridge to your future, offering hope, insight, and a legacy of love. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just beginning, this workshop will help you uncover the meaning and magic of your life’s journey.

Contemplative Memoir: Remembering Being, Being Remembered takes place on Wednesday evenings in September, 5:30-7pm.

 

Peter Dunne, an award-winning producer and writer, brings over three decades of experience in writing, producing, and teaching around the world. His work spans acclaimed shows like Sybil, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, JAG, Melrose Place, Dallas, Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, and Diagnosis: Murder, among many others. His accolades include an Emmy, the Peabody Award, the Kennedy Foundation Award, and the National Presidential Medal for Volunteer Service. Peter has taught at UCLA, Santa Clara University, USC, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and the University of Central America in El Salvador, and has led workshops globally, including as writer-in-residence at The Anam Cara Writer’s and Artist’s Retreat in Ireland. He founded The Grey Quill Society and is the author of Emotional Structure: Creating the Story Beneath the Plot and contributing writer to Quality TV: Contemporary American Television and Beyond. A dual citizen of the U.S. and Ireland, he is a member of the Writers Guild of America, the Producers Guild of America, and the Irish Writers Union.
