Exploring the Elements of Art: Taking the Next Step in Your Work *SOLD OUT *

Whether you are just beginning, intend to strengthen your skills, or are already developing a style uniquely your own, discover the potential for self expression in the visual language. Each session we will break down one of the essential tools of artistic expression: composition, edges, shapes, values, color, light, and subject matter. All mediums (oil, pastel, watercolor, drawing) are welcome! All levels of interest, experience and time commitment are welcome.
Each session will begin with a slide presentation showing the range of possibilities for that session’s subject. Then we will discuss what it all means in practical application. We conclude with a working demonstration by the course instructor, and we will always set time aside to give feedback on participants’ work.
