Course Description:

Join artist and educator John Passaro for a free one hour drawing demonstration focused on perspective.

Passaro will demonstrate how perspective works, and then participants will create their own unique Still Life using two-point perspective. This is a method along with one-point perspective that has been around for hundreds of years and even survived the era of Abstract Art! Shading will be covered as well to give a suggestion of 3-D volume.

No materials are required. The instructor will provide everything you need. All you are asked to bring is a willingness to experiment!

Before the drawing project, there will be a brief, engaging slideshow on how the famous artists have used perspective to their advantage. Refreshments provided!

This session offers a preview of techniques covered in John Passaro’s monthly classes – Art 101, Fundaments of Art, and Exploring the Elements of Art.
