Ceramic Portraits
June 12-16, 2023
Let’s play with clay! During this class, each student will create a self-portrait sketch including a head, neck, body, arms, legs and feet. These pieces will then be cut out of clay slabs. Once the pieces are fired, the body parts will be colored and assembled using wire. These clay self-portraits can then be hung at home as a wall piece. Students will also create an animal mask.
