Location: Foothills Art Center – Creative Campus, 809 15th Street. 

Course Description:

Art 101 is a welcoming, beginner-friendly workshop for anyone who wants to start creating—or get back into art after a break. Join artist John Passaro for a fun, ongoing month-to-month journey where you’ll build confidence and learn practical foundations step by step.

Everyone is welcome. You can work in acrylic, oil, watercolor, or drawing —while we focus on the same essential skills: color, light and dark, composition, line, and more.

What to expect each week:

-Friendly, supportive community

-Individual feedback on your work and goals

-Visual studies of real subjects

-Instructor demonstrations (painting/drawing techniques)
