Step into a world of visual storytelling in Based Step into a world of visual storytelling in Based on a True Story, a new solo exhibition by Moe Scance. Featuring nineteen narrative works on paper, this collection invites you into a story of mystery and drama. Using a unique combination of printmaking, drawing, and mark-making techniques, Moe weaves together people, animals, and landscapes drawn from both her East Coast roots and Western surroundings. Be the first to experience “Based On A True Story” and join us tomorrow for the Member Reception before it opens to the public on Saturday.

Tomorrow, May 20th from 3–4 PM, join us at Foothills Art Center for an intimate happy hour with Denver-based photographer @Howard.Paul.5280, as he takes us behind the lens of his 2024 photographic expedition through Kenya. From the sweeping plains of the Masai Mara to the elephant-laden landscapes of Amboseli, Howard’s images capture the pulse of East Africa’s wildlife with reverence and precision. He’ll share the stories behind the shots, offer practical advice for aspiring safari-goers.
