SUMMARY:Goblins & Ghouls! Clay Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Goblins & Ghouls! Clay Workshop  \n \nSaturdays: October 11\, 25  \n5:30pm-8pm  \nClasses: $120 members\, $170 Friends and nonmembers  \n \nGet into the spooky Halloween spirit by getting creative in our ceramics studio! Students will be provided with a wet thrown pot\, and instructor Peri Charlifu will guide the class on how to transform it into a monstrous ghoulie. We’ll talk about form and function\, proportion\, symmetry\, asymmetry and construction. Students will make their ghouls the evening of October 11th and will decorate them the evening of October 25th\, just in time for Halloween!  \n \nAvailable to all skill levels. This class provides a wet thrown pot for students to sculpt with\, finishing and coloring materials\, tools\, and firing of all clay monsters made during the workshop.  \n \nPlease reach out to Jordan at jordan@foothillsartcenter\,org with any questions.

Students must sign up and pay for open studio before their first class takes place in order to attend. DESCRIPTION:Multigenerational Ceramics Class \nFALL SESSION 2 \nCLASS DATES: There is no class on October 31 or November 28. The last day of this session is December 12. \nFridays 4pm-6pm: \nOctober 17\, 24\, November 7\, 14\, 21\, December 5\, 12 \nSpring Semester Ages 7+ \nJoin us for a family ceramics night and learn to make creative works with clay! This class will dive into the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel as well as beginning handbuilding techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to create a variety of projects from functional ceramic forms to sculptural creations.
