Acrylic Painting for Beginners

Explore the versatility of acrylics in this fun, approachable four-week class designed for beginners! Each week, we’ll dive into a new subject — from colorful still life to expressive landscapes to playful abstracts — giving you a wide range of foundational skills. You’ll learn how to use acrylic paints effectively, mix colors with confidence, build texture and layers, and bring your unique style to life. We’ll work step-by-step together through demos and guided practice, with plenty of room for creativity. In the final week, you’ll create a personal project based on what inspires you most.
No experience needed — just show up ready to experiment and paint!
Saturdays in September, 10am – 12pm
All materials are provided with a $20 materials fee paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class.
